Do I Dazzle You?

He leaned forward and touched my cheek. I couldn't help but flinch. Even though he had promised that he wouldn't hurt me and I trusted him, I was still scared.

He leaned closer to me and I instinctively backed away, panicking. What is he going to do? My heart pounding so hard in my chest now that I was sure he could hear it. For a moment we just stared at each other, neither moving or speaking.

"Do I dazzle you?" he suddenly whispered, breaking into a grin.

Good grief, even his voice is different!

It took me a while to process his words, because the only thing I could focus on at the moment was how his voice sounded like it was dripping with poison and how his large fangs made him look even more demonic than he already is. He actually looked like he was considering to eat me for dinner. I hurriedly shoved the thought out of my head.

When my brain had finally registered that he had just asked me a question, my only reaction was to stare at him some more because I wasn't sure what to answer. Was he being sarcastic? Was he trying to make a joke? Or was he actually being serious?

SARCASM IS AWESOME!!! Yes, I am indeed making fun of Twilight here.

Remember this "Twilight" wannabe cover? This bit is sort of something from that story, except that I still have no desire to actually write the story AT ALL.

To those who is new and doesn't get it: Basically this is sort of a Twilight rewrite AND crossover with Aveyond. Uses characters from Aveyond, (fixed and tampered) plot from Twilight, and a future/modern day version of the Aveyond universe.

Twilight started with Meyer's dream, a.k.a Chapter 13 of the first book, "The Confession". It's only right for me to tackle that scene first. So that snippet up there is my take on the part that people lovingly dubbed "the meadow scene", sans meadow and sparkles because those are simply ridiculous. I know that "Do I dazzle you" line is probably not from that chapter, but I think this is a perfect place to put it in to make fun of both the line and scene. Agas is being all muhahahahahaha evil and Rhen is scared half to death because Agas is a demon. The "I" there is Rhen, in case you didn't realize it yet.

And then he eats her.

No, just kidding. AV demons don't eat people. Except for Aesma.
