It happens. All the time.
I have this super important animation/art/design homework that I'm supposed to be excited about because it's homework and important and I get grades for it and I like drawing, but I go and get inspired for pointless stuff and I'm more excited about THOSE pointless stuff than my homework. And that is A PROBLEM.
I wanted to draw the daevas' release transformation. I have some awesome ideas... And some other ideas that is made just for the lulz and not exactly how the release goes in my mind. But it's epically funny to imagine Agas
[link] do some kind of sparkly Sailor Moon transformation. Or Saurva. It would be funnier.
Anyways. Told myself to hold it off. Told myself to not do anything pointless. And what did I do? I just storyboarded an epic vampire transformation. Which is not my homework. And I can't twist/polish/edit/tinker with it in any way to turn it into something that could be counted as me doing my homework. None of my homework has anything to do with 2D animation. FAIL.
So yeah. I really am itching to draw those frames right now. Even though I'm not supposed to. I have no reference and stuff, so it'll probably be wonky. But at least I can have practice at storyboarding and animating something from scratch without anything to copy from.
Though if any of you people out there know of any vampire transformation scenes from any anime, it would be much appreciated.
A vampire transformation that has Nanghaithya in it. He's watching the guy painfully transforming like the evil sadistic mad scientist that he is. Fun.
